Cass City Pool to Get Temporary Repairs

Cass City officials have approved short-term fixes for the Community pool to allow it to be open for the start of swim lessons next week. After several swimmers had recently reported minor injuries, city officials ordered the 42-year old pool closed until an investigation was done to determine the cause. It’s estimated the temporary fix will cost around $100,000 and city officials are quick to point out they do not have the funding for repairs and suggested a fundraising campaign. If they decide to pursue a new pool, city officials were told it could cost around $700,000 dollars.
