Like many schools throughout the Thumb, Caseville school board memnbers are focusing on school safety and what measures could be taken to better protect students and staff. Caseville Police Chief Kyle Romzek currently patrols the school grounds and gave the board safety tips. While not having issues to this point, the school board intends to stay proactive with new security measures at the school’s entrance and possibly closing the school to the public during school hours. Local, county and state law enforcement will tour the school and make safety recommendations.
