Cass City Has Three Important Millage Votes Coming Up On May 8th

May 8th Cass City voters will be asked to approve a three-mill bond extension that would generate nearly $9 million dollars over 16 years that if approved, would upgrade infrastructure and safety.The proposal is an extension of a 2008 bond expiring in 2021. Among the improvements planned are technology, school busses and infrastructure needs. The school district will be holding seeveral informational meetings for district voters. According to state law, funding can’t be used for staff salaries and wages and general operating expenses.
