Dryden police officer saves life

A Dryden Township police officer is being credited with saving a 55-year old man’s life earlier last month, performing life-saving efforts. Authorities said Officer Shawn Peters responded to a township home February 13th and started CPR on the victim. He worked alongside first responder crews from Dryden until EMS arived on the scene and was able to revive the man. The 19-year veteran of the police department, who’s originally from Brown City, was honored at a recent township meeting for his efforts.
