(SANILAC COUNTY) – A three-alarm blaze destroyed a Carsonville home Friday evening. Firemen from Carsonville, Port Sanilac and Sandusky were called to the home on North Main Street when flames engulfed the home.
An 83-year old woman, who was on oxygen was rescued from the home by a neighbor before firemen arrived. According to reports, the woman did not have any serious injuries.
Firemen from all three departments were called back to the scene hours later for a rekindle. The fire remains under investigation.
