(WHEATLAND TOWNSHIP) – Bridge repair work on Mills Road in Sanilac County’s northern Wheatland Township is still about 45 days from completion, according to Road Commission Engineer Robb Falls.

The $600,000 dollar project will see decking poured this week with work expected to be done by the end of October.

Falls reported to Road Commissioners Tuesday morning that the million dollar paving project on Old 51 from Carsonville to Croswell has been pushed back and will not begin until the first week of October.

The Marlette Road bridge project, just east of M-19 is finished with the exception of minor work and was re-opened to traffic late last week.
