Police NARCAN to rescue victim

 

Marlette police are investigating an apparent heroin drug overdose that happened last Saturday afternoon. Officers were called to the 3100 block of Lamotte St at 4p.m. and found a 25-year old woman unresponsive and not breathing.

Officer Braegger began rescue breathing and administered Narcan and helped the woman start breathing again. She was transported to Marlette Regional Hospital and later transferred to a Saginaw area hospital.

Meanwhile, a 26-year old man was also transported to Marlette Region Hospital by private vehicle, seeking treatment for a suspected overdose.

Marlette police continue to investigate the incident. Marlette Police were assisted by Marlette EMS and fire department.
