Two Sanilac County residents arrested after home invasions

Two Sanilac County people arrested

 

(Deckerville) – Over Memorial Day weekend the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office investigated two separate Breaking and Entering complaints in the Village of Deckerville.

Sheriff’s Deputies were able to obtain a search warrant for a residence in the 6000 block of Day Road in Forester Township.

According to Deputy Todd Laming, the search warrant resulted in locating three stolen hand guns, cash and other items that were stolen from the two residences in Deckerville.

A 32 -year-old Deckerville man and a 32-year-old Carsonville woman are currently in custody awaiting charges for their alleged involvement.

The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sanilac County Drug Task Force, Michigan State Police Caro Post and the Deckerville Police Department.
