The Marlette Red Raiders earned top honors, winning the Sanilac County Academic games last weekend in Port Huron. Marlette scored over 340 points to claim the championship trophy and will keep possession of the traveling hardware for one year. Also competing in the event were Croswell-Lexington, Deckerville, Carsonville-Port Sanilac, Peck and Sandusky. Student competitors had to test their memory with problem solving in math, science, language arts and social studies. Cros-Lex placed second and Sandusky was third.
