(BUEL TWP.) — Sanilac County Sheriff Deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover accident Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 in Sanilac County’s Buel Township. According to Sheriff Deputies, a pickup driven by a 15-year-old from Peck was traveling west on Harrington Road near Bricker Road when the driver lost control on the gravel road and ran off the road. The truck struck the north ditch embankment and rolled several times, ejecting the driver. The truck came to rest on its top about 30 feet away. The 15-year-old was taken to McLaren Port Huron Hospital for treatment. Police say the driver was not wearing his seatbelt and age and speed were contributing factors.
