(MILLINGTON) — Tuscola County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a person of interest last Thursday in the vehicle larcenies that have been reported in the southern end of the county. During the course of the interview with the suspect, deputies say he admitted to 30-40 vehicle larcenies in the Millington/Clio area. The evening of August 18, another vehicle larceny occurred in the village of Millington that was disrupted. Authorities set up a perimeter and the Michigan State Police K-9 was requested. After tracking the suspect for a short period, the dog lost the track. It is believed that the suspect was possibly picked up and given a ride from the area. Deputies remind residents that even though one person is in custody, continue locking doors on vehicles, homes, and garages. Report suspicious activity to police immediately.
