(DIMONDALE) — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump blasted Democratic policies and called for the support of black voters during a campaign rally in Dimondale Friday–his second visit to Michigan in less than two weeks. Speaking to a capacity crowd of about 6,000 people, Trump appealed directly to blacks for votes, citing the state of schools and lack of employment opportunities in predominantly black communities as examples of how existing policies have failed the African American community. Trump also renewed his call to build a wall on the Mexican border and promised to bring jobs back to Michigan. The rally at the Summit Sports and Ice Complex in Dimondale, a suburb of Lansing, drew over 13,000 Trump supporters, but only 6,000 people were allowed into the complex due to fire and safety regulations.
