SPRINGFIELD, N.J. (AP) – It rained overnight in Springfield, New Jersey, site of the PGA Championship. Consequently, the course is playing softer and how that will affect the scoring remains to be seen in the second round. The leader after the first 18 holes was Jimmy Walker, by a stroke. He opened with a 5-under 65 yesterday. British Open champ Henrik Stenson began the day three shots off the lead and after two holes remains three behind. Walker has a mid-afternoon tee time. Jordan Speith is on the course and has completed three holes. He birdied the first two but then bogeyed No. 3 to stand 1-under for the tournament.
