DTF raids five houses; seizes meth and other drugs

(PORT HURON) — The St. Clair County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of several law enforcement units, raided five homes Thursday in the city of Port Huron, seizing meth, pills, and cash. Sheriff Tim Donnellon says the lengthy investigation into narcotics trafficking in Port Huron resulted in the arrest of six people. Raids took place at two homes in the 1300 block of White Street, along with residences in the 1400 block of Griswold, 1300 block of Miller, and the 1400 block of Minnie Street. Officers confiscated a dealers quantity of crystal meth, crack cocaine, heroin paraphernalia, marijuana, pills and cash from the homes. The suspects include four men ranging in age from 25 to 46 and two women ages 27 and 36, all from Port Huron. Sheriff Donnellon noted that the cooperative effort got more drugs and more drug dealers off the streets.
