(MOORE TOWNSHIP) — Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of M-46 and Juhl Road in Sanilac County’s Moore Township. Sheriff’s deputies say a 19-year old Brown City man was traveling west on M-46 at around 2:30 p.m. when he failed to yield to an unknown westbound vehicle stopped in the roadway to turn onto Juhl Road. The Brown City man swerved into oncoming traffic resulting in the crash with a Chevy pickup. The pickup was driven by a 56-year old Marlette man, who became pinned inside his vehicle and had to be freed by the Sandusky Fire Department’s Jaws of Life. Both drivers were taken by ambulance to McKenzie Health System for treatment of their injuries. Deputies say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
