(SANILAC COUNTY) — The Sanilac County Intermediate School District Board of Education Monday night accepted the resignation of long-time trustee John Tanton and approved the appointment of Chuck Dumaw to fill the vacancy through June 2017. After closed session contract negotiations, the board approved a 3-year teacher contract as presented. In other business, the district will expand its surveillance system by adding another 13 cameras to the present system at a cost of $12,871. The board also approved selling two used school buses owned by the Sanilac ISD including a 1998 Ford mini bus and a 1999 bus with a lift.
