(KIMBALL TOWNSHIP) — The St. Clair County Drug Task Force has shut down another portable meth lab on the Wadhams to Avoca Trail. Sheriff Tim Donnellon says officers located the illegal operation in the woods just off the trail and seized a one pot vessel and other ingredients used to process meth. No suspects were located at the scene. The first meth lab found on the trail was earlier in the month on June 2. Another meth lab was located on a trail off Howard Road in Kimball Township in early February. Sheriff Donnellon asks that anyone who notices suspicious activity on the Wadhams to Avoca Trail to call the Sheriff’s Office. He adds that if you locate a plastic bottle containing a milky type liquid, leave the bottle alone and contact police immediately. The milky substance could contain residue from a meth lab and could explode if moved.
