(PORT HURON) — The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team conducted a training mission in the Black River in downtown Port Huron on Saturday. Eleven members of the team practiced search patterns in near zero visibility in the river, near the 7th Street Bridge. The location was chosen partly because a drone airplane had been lost in the river in that area. During the search, members of the Dive Team were able to locate and recover the drone in an empty boat well behind St. Clair County Community College. Efforts are now being made to return the drone to its owner.
