(PORT HOPE) — Motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to take part in the 13th annual Dillinger Ride sponsored by The Inn Between Saloon of Port Hope. The fundraising ride for United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital and ABATE Region 7 is Memorial Day weekend. The annual event serves as a tribute to the life of Jim Dillinger Friedland. Sign-up starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 28 at The Inn Between Saloon and riders will depart at Noon. Dinner and raffles will be part of the day’s festivities. The entry fee is $15 per person or $25 per couple. Bikes, cars, and trucks are welcome to join. Proceeds will be split 50/50 to benefit United Hospice Service and ABATE Region 7. Donations received by United Hospice Service help to ensure that the best hospice care is available to patients and their families throughout the Thumb Region.
