Reward offered in suspected hit-and-run case

(AREA) — A cash reward is being offered for information regarding a hit-and-run crash that claimed the life a 21-year old St. Clair County man. The body of Jacob Brand of Kimball Township was discovered in a ditch in northern Macomb County around 11:35 a.m. last Saturday. Investigators say Brand got out of a friend’s vehicle on Bordman Road and began to walk. Brand graduated from Memphis High School in 2012 and attended St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron where he studied welding.
