(CARO) — The Michigan State Police Caro Post collected 13.5 pounds of prescription drugs during National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 30. The State Police partnered with the Drug Enforcement Administration and several other law enforcement agencies during the event to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible venue for disposing of unwanted and unused prescription drugs. All 29 posts participated in the one-day effort collecting a total of 1,189 pounds of prescription drugs.
