Marlette H.S. makes list of Top 100 High Schools in the State

(AREA) — U.S. News and World Report has released its list of the top 100 high schools in the state. According to the annual report, Marlette High School ranked 77th in the state and 1,939th nationally. Marine City High School was ranked 66th in Michigan and 1,701st in the country. Also making the list was Frankenmuth High School, which ranked 24th in the state. The U.S. News and World Report ranks schools based several criteria including high graduation rates, better state test scores than statistically expected, and college readiness performance. Data from nearly 20,000 high schools from the 2013-14 school year were reviewed by North Carolina-based RTI International, a global nonprofit social science research firm.
