Greg Alexander Announces Bid for Re‐Election as Drain Commissioner

(SANILAC COUNTY) — Sanilac County Drain Commissioner Greg Alexander has announced his bid for re-election. The 47-year old Washington Township resident also serves as Chairman of the Sanilac County Board of Public Works, Vice‐Chairman of the Sanilac County Parks Board, and Chairman of the Karegnondi Water Authority. As the Chairman of the North East District Michigan Association of County Drain Commissioners, Alexander has become well‐versed in Michigan state policy pertaining to drainage issues and has been involved in the introduction of many bills put before the Michigan Legislature related to the Michigan’s Drain Code. Greg is also active in Michigan Farm Bureau’s Policy Development process through his Chairmanship of the Sanilac County Farm Bureau Policy Development Committee, as well as his position of Delegate Chairman at the Michigan Farm Bureau State Annual Meetings. Greg and his wife Patty have three children.
