(TUSCOLA COUNTY) — A lucky Tuscola County man claimed his second Michigan Lottery jackpot in as many years, after he won a $1.1 million Lotto 47 jackpot. The player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought his winning ticket at the M&N Market, located at 5947 North Lapeer Road in North Branch. The drawing was held on Wednesday, March 30. It was the 78-year-old Navy veteran’s second Lottery jackpot win. In March 2014, he won a $100,000 Fantasy 5 jackpot. The player visited Lottery headquarters this week to claim his big prize and chose to receive his winnings as a one-time lump sum payment of about $698,000. With his winnings, the man plans to purchase a new vehicle and help his children and grandchildren.
