Wind Works Michigan to host community conversation on Tuscola County wind farms

(CARO) — Tuscola County residents, business owners, and land owners are invited to attend an interactive meeting next week to discuss Tuscola County wind farms. Wind Works Michigan is hosting the community conversation on Monday, April 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the Tuscola Technology Center, located at 1401 Cleaver Road in Caro. Attendees will have an opportunity to talk about community values, priorities, and concerns about wind farms. Rich VanderVeen, President of Mackinaw Power and Skip Pruss of 5 Lakes Energy will be on hand to answer questions and address concerns. The goal of the meeting is to build relationships and work toward consensus on the future of wind in Tuscola County.
