(HURON COUNTY) — Huron County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 26-year old Bay Port man late Tuesday following a lengthy investigation into cocaine trafficking in the area. John Nugent, Jr. was charged with felony delivery of cocaine and operating a vehicle in the presence of drugs. The arrest took place at the man’s residence on the north side of Bay Port. Deputies seized over $700 in cash, cocaine and marijuana during a search of the home. Nugent posted an $8,500 or 10% bond and has been released from jail.
