(DECKERVILLE) — The Deckerville School Board Monday night extended administrator contacts after both received “effective” ratings on recent evaluations. High School Principal Matthew Connelly’s contract was extended one year through June 30, 2019. Elementary Principal Yvonne O’Conner’s contract was extended through June 30, 2019 with a 1% salary increase for the 2016-2017 school year. In other business, the board approved the request for 18-mills plus an additional 2-mills to cover any rollback for 15-years, which will be included on the November ballot. Two students, a 7th grader and an 8th grader, were suspended for violating the student conduct code.
