(MARLETTE) — A five-week long renovation project at Marlette Regional Hospital’s ER is set to start on Thursday, March 24 with anticipated completion at the end of April. During construction the emergency department will be temporarily relocated and operating in the acute care unit at the hospital. Patients needing emergency medical services will be directed to enter through door #19, located in the northwest parking lot of the hospital. Signs will also be posted to help guide patients. The renovation plan for the emergency department will enhance the physical appearance of the unit and provide enhanced security and privacy for patients. Main features of the renovation will include a new nurse/physician station with glass enclosure, updated lighting, and new flooring.
