(LEXINGTON TOWNSHIP) — A Lexington woman and her two children escaped serious injury in a roll over crash Tuesday afternoon on Roach Road near S. Lakeshore in Sanilac County’s Lexington Township. Sheriff’s deputies say the 33-year old woman was driving a minivan west on Roach Road around 12:30 p.m. when she lost control and entered the north ditch. The minivan proceeded along the ditch bank, struck a tree, and overturned-coming to rest on its roof. The woman and her two children, ages 2 and 4, were transported by Croswell EMS to McLaren Port Huron Hospital for treatment. Deputies say the woman was wearing her seat belt and the two children were secured in car seats at the time of the crash. Lexington Police and Fire assisted at the scene.
