(DECKERVILLE) — The Deckerville School Board Monday night discussed the district’s millage rate options and will take action at a later meeting. In other business, high school social studies and history teacher, Dan Dean, has been chosen to represent Deckerville Community Schools as the Friend of Youth during the Caro Meet on Champions on May 31. The board also approved the request from the Deckerville Homecoming Committee to lease the school grounds for the Homecoming fireworks display on Friday, August 5 with the rain date set for Saturday, August 6.
