(ST. CLAIR COUNTY) — The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team conducted a practice dive under the ice of the Black River this past weekend. Team members set up a temporary heated shelter before holding the dive activity off the Water Street Boat Ramp in Port Huron. Divers rotated positions, serving as a dive tender and safety divers before taking their turn diving under the ice. The St. Clair County Dive Team trains twice a month in all conditions as a way to maintain their skills and keep their equipment ready to respond to all water related emergencies.
