Meeting set to air concerns over wind farm projects

(AREA) — A group opposing a March 8th ballot proposal on wind development and the approval process for wind projects is hosting an informational discussion on wind energy on Saturday, February 20 at the St. Joseph Hall in Argyle from 12:30-3 p.m. Wind development in Sanilac County has become a hot topic as a number of townships in Sanilac County including Argyle, Moore, Marion, Bridgehampton, and Custer are also dealing with the same concerns about wind mills and zoning. Concerned Citizens of Argyle and Moore Townships will offer information addressing wind development and zoning ordinances. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions. A spaghetti dinner will follow the meeting.
