(BAD AXE) — Three arrests were made around the Bad Axe area Friday morning around 6:30 a.m. by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. According to Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson, the arrests were regards to local individuals having a part in criminal activities involving illegal immigrants. The arrests were the result of a lengthy ongoing investigation that originally began with the sheriff’s department and Bad Axe Police Department. The two women and a man taken into custody were transported to the Bay City Federal Courthouse for arraignment on federal charges. Sheriff Hanson says the investigation is likely to continue.
