Douglas Kalis, age 70 of Unionville, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016. Mr. Kalis was the owner/operator of the Unionville and Gagetown Funeral Chapels. Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 1 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Unionville. Visitation at the Unionville Chapel will be Monday, Jan. 11 from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 12 at the church from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Memorials may be given to the St. Paul Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 421, or United Hospice Service of Marlette. Arrangements handled by the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home.
