(TUSCOLA COUNTY) — Three people were hurt, including a child, in a head on crash Wednesday evening in Vassar Township. Tuscola County Sheriff’s deputies were sent to M-15 near Ruppercht Road around 6:20 p.m. and learned that a 32-year old Bay City woman was traveling south on M-15 in the northbound lane without headlights on when a 36-year old Reese woman, traveling north, attempted to avoid a collision and swerved into the southbound lane. At that time, the Bay City woman also attempted to swerve into the southbound lane and the two vehicles collided head on. The two drivers and the Reese woman’s toddler son were transported to Covenant Hospital in Saginaw with non-life threatening injuries. Deputies say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
