Irene Peters, age 83 of Lapeer, formerly of Tyre, passed away on Sunday, December 27. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Freiburg. Visitation at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly is Wednesday, Dec. 30 from 1-8 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 31 from 10-11 a.m. Memorials may be given to the family discretionary fund.
