(HURON TOWNSHIP) — Huron County Sheriff’s deputies assisted the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office in arresting a wanted felon early Monday. The 44-year old Lake Orion man was wanted on a four count felony warrant for sexual conduct involving juveniles out of Oakland County and authorities there learned that the man was staying with relatives in the Thumb. Huron County Sheriff’s Sgt. Hunt began surveillance on a residence on Lighthouse Road in Huron Township and spotted a vehicle occupied by two men pull into the residence. Contact was made with the suspect and he was taken into custody by Sgt. Hunt. Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies transported the suspect back to the Oakland County jail without incident about an hour and a half later. Sheriff Kelly Hanson said he had no other details on the alleged crimes that were committed in Oakland County.
