Marlette Jr./Sr. High School students evacuated following alleged bomb threat

(MARLETTE) — Marlette Jr./Sr. High School students were evacuated from the school building Tuesday morning following a possible bomb threat. Marlette Police were contacted after a note was received by the high school office at 10:30 a.m. regarding an alleged bomb threat, specific to the Jr./Sr. High School. Students were evacuated for safety reasons. Marlette Police were assisted by Lapeer City Police and the Sanilac County Bomb Dog. The dog was able to clear the building and an investigation continues by school officials and Marlette Police.
