(EVERGREEN TOWNSHIP) — A 61-year old Decker woman suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Evergreen Township. Sanilac Central Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call from OnStar reporting the crash on Leslie Road near Argyle Road. Sheriff’s deputies say the 2015 Buick driven by Bonnie Adkins-Salowitz was traveling north on Leslie Road when the vehicle began to drift across the center line and enter the ditch. The vehicle then struck a driveway embankment and came to rest in the ditch. Adkins-Salowitz was transported to Hills and Dales Hospital in Cass City by ambulance and treated for minor injuries. She was also evaluated for a possible medical condition that may have led up to the accident. Deputies say neither alcohol or speed were factors in the crash and the Decker woman was wearing her seat belt.
