(SPEAKER TOWNSHIP) — A semi driver was injured after the front tire on his truck blew Wednesday evening on Brockway Road between Sheridan Line and Mortimer Line Roads in Speaker Township. Sheriff’s deputies say Ross McIvor of Brown City was driving the Kenworth semi truck and trailer north on Brockway when the front steer tire blew, causing him to lose control just before 5:30 p.m. The semi entered the ditch, overturned, and came to rest on its side. The cargo in the truck’s trailer spilled. McIvor became trapped in the cab and was pulled to safety. He was transported to McKenzie Health System for treatment of his injuries.
