Miss Sanilac County and Miss Sanilac County Outstanding Teen Winners Crowned

(AREA) — Mollie Smith of Highland was crowned Miss Sanilac County Saturday night. There were eleven contestants vying for the crown during the pageant that was held at the Maple Valley School in Sandusky. The other contestants were Hannah Haynes of Southfield, Allie Grazinano of Williamsburg, Victoria Schick of St. Clair Shores, Lauren English of Port Sanilac, Samantha Orchard of Sandusky, Erica Kennedy of Lapeer, Marcia Cripps of Flint, Alana Wilson of Saginaw, Emily Birgy of Fife Lake, and Courtney Neering of Bay City. The women competed in several categories including talent, fitness wear, evening wear, and personal interviews. Mollie Smith will now compete in the Miss Michigan contest in June. Also receiving a crown last Saturday night was Elizabeth Wirth of Temperance, who took the title of Miss Outstanding Teen. The five other contestants were Alyssa Woodbeck of Deckerville, Emily Morris of Sandusky, Cherokee Johnson of Peck, Aubrey Hammis of Saginaw, and Isabella Gielniak of Armada. Elizabeth also moves on to compete in the Miss Outstanding Teen contest in June.
