U.S. car sales shift between October 2015 and October 2014

(DETROIT) — U.S. auto sales of light vehicles in October 2015 indicated increases for October of 13.6% for the U.S. automobile companies.
GM sold 262,993 with an increase of 15.9% from 2014
Ford sold 213,105 with an increase of 13.4% from 2014
Toyota sold 204,045 with an increase of 13.0% from 2014
Honda sold 31,651 with an increase of 8.6% from 2014
Chrysler sold 191,723 with an increase of 15.0% from 2014
Hyundai sold 60,005 with an increase of 19.8% from 2014
Nissan sold 116,047 with an increase of 12.5% from 2014

The Detroit Big Three had 45.8% of all car sales in October 2015. The prediction for 2015 is an increase to at least 17.1 million vehicles. Total vehicles sold through October 2015 is 1,455,516-an increase of 13.6% There was one less selling day in 2015.
