St. Clair County Leaders Unite to Back Phil Pavlov for Congress

(ST. CLAIR) — Community and grassroots leaders from across St. Clair County united this week to back State Senator Phil Pavlov during his Congressional run in Michigan’s 10th District. The seat is currently held by Congresswoman Candice Miller, who announced that she will not run for re-election. The 10th District serves northern Macomb County, a portion of Tuscola County, and St. Clair, Sanilac, Huron and Lapeer counties. Pavlov says his growing St. Clair County Leadership Team includes Port Huron Mayor Pauline Repp, St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, all six Republican members of the County Commission, State Representative Dan Lauwers, 16 mayors and township supervisors, and dozens of other local public officials and Republican leaders. A St. Clair Township native, Pavlov graduated from St. Clair High School and studied business administration at St. Clair Community College before joining the family transportation business. A former St. Clair County Commissioner, Pavlov served three terms in the Michigan House of Representatives before being elected State Senator in 2010 and re-elected in 2014.
