Sandusky City Council approves Chamber request to sell Christmas Parade Buttons

(SANDUSKY) — The Sandusky City Council met briefly Monday night and approved a street sale application from the Sandusky Chamber of Commerce. Chamber members will be at the corners of M-19 and M-46 throughout the day on Friday, November 14th selling buttons for the Lighted Farm Implement Parade. Council members also approved a request from Relay for Life to hold a small marathon at Diamond Trail park during the weekend of December 4th. In other business, Sandusky police chief Brett Lester notified council members that city police will be observing “No Shave November.” Police members will be donating money to charity for the privilege of growing a beard. The Sandusky City Council will meet again on Monday, November 15.
