U.S. car sales shift between September 2015 and September 2014

(DETROIT) — U.S. auto sales of light vehicles in September 2015 indicated increases for September of 15.8% for the U.S. automobile companies.
GM sold 251,269 with an increase of 12.5% from 2014
Ford sold 221,269 with an increase of 23.3% from 2014
Toyota sold 194,399 with an increase of 16.2% from 2014
Honda sold 133,750 with an increase of 13.1% from 2014
Chrysler sold 189,567 with an increase of 13.8% from 2014
Hyundai sold 64,015 with an increase of 14.3% from 2014
Nissan sold 121,782 with an increase of 18.3% from 214

The Detroit Big Three had 45.9% of all car sales in September 2015. The prediction for 2015 is an increase to at least 17.1 million vehicles. Total vehicles sold through September 2015 is 1,442,460 or an increase of 15.8%. There was one less selling day in 2015.
